If time permits, I’d try to make Shy Guy playable for all modes. were nice additions, I don’t see myself imagining them on the roster. Starting Roster: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, Toad, Wario, Koopa, Diddy Kong, Kamek, Bowser Jr., Daisy, Waluigi, Birdo, Baby MarioĭS: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, Toad, DK, Wario, Koopa Troopa, Daisy, Waluigi, Shy Guy, Petey Piranha For characters that would take less effort, I’ll go with Toadsworth and Metal Mario. Since the double character mechanic wouldn’t exist, I don’t think I would’ve come up with Toadette, Paratroopa, or Baby Luigi at this point. Given that I have a Luigi’s Mansion and Donkey Kong Country character, Kamek gets his spot. To promote the newer entries, I’d have Bowser Jr and King Boo. Like Daisy and Waluigi, I have Birdo and Baby Mario for their appearances in other spinoffs. Diddy is a major character historically, and he was supposed to be in Mario Tennis 64. Given that they were in Mario Party games and Toadstool Tour, Daisy and Waluigi would join. In terms of the roster, I’d definitely return Koopa Troopa. I want to say that I’d come with the double driver feature, but I don’t think I would. I like Koopa Troopa, but he is the least notable of the original eight (I guess Kamek works could replace Toad too, but I’d rather keep Toad)ĭouble Dash: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, Toad, DK, Koopa Troopa, Wario, Diddy Kong, Kamek, Bowser Jr., King Boo, Daisy, Waluigi, Birdo, Baby Mario, Metal Mario, Toadsworth Mario Kart 64 & Super Circuit: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, Toad, DK, Wario I kept Koopa Troopa and Toad as the only other notable character at the time was a Goomba, but a Koopa Troopa driving seems less farfetched than a Goomba. with DK since I feel that DK is more recognizable. Super Mario Kart: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, Toad, DK, Koopa Troopa Since I did this for SSB, why not do one for Mario Kart? I'll throw my hat into the ring and do my own versions of rosters. Optional, but you can factor in the weight classes for the characters if you want the roster to feel more balanced.Third parties will be allowed as early as Double Dash, as Shigeru Miyamoto discussed the possibility of Sonic being in the game. Heck, you can have the series be a Nintendo crossover from the start if you really want to. Non-Mario characters are allowed in all games.Characters must've existed at the times of the respective games, though you can add promotional characters if their games released shortly before or after (for example, you can add Wario to Super Mario Kart). You can add more clones by upgrading certain costumes to full characters. They can't be replaced with completely unique characters unless you can find away around doing so (like making the Luma playable in Mario Kart Wii, as the model exists in the game and is animated).
